هي روايةٌ تأخذنا في مراوحةٍ أنيقةٍ بين الواقع الفعليّ وبين الخيال الجامح فترجحُ كفّة الأوّل مرّةً والثّاني أخرى إلى أن يتمازج الإثنان فلا نستطيع فَصْلَ أحدهما عن الآخر، كما تحتفي بالمجازات والرّموز، فلا تكاد تعلقُ بصورةٍ أو رؤيا حتّى تستأثر بك غيرها.
إذا كانت الوِحدة والظّلام مُضجريْن عادةً، فإنّهما يتحوّلان في هذا العمل إلى سبيلٍ نحو الحريّة والإنعتاق من كلّ شيء بما في ذلك ضجيج التّفكير وزحام الأضواء.
هي محاولة إذن للعودة إلى الطّبيعة الأولى قبل أن تلغي الحضارة الكائن الإنساني وتخلّصه من بساطته، وهي فرصةٌ لنتمثّل ذاتنا الحقيقيّة لا ذاك الشّكل الذي يعدُّ تعبيراً عنها، فرصةٌ لنحرس من بعيدٍ آمالَنا العائمة أمامنا ونفُكَّها من أَسْرِ طموحاتنا المحدودة.
