من جبل عامل في جنوب لبنان، وهو متزوج من الاعلامية رابعة الزيات.
قدّم البرنامج الحواري الأسبوعي خليك بالبيت لسنوات كثيرة في تلفزيون المستقبل.
وانتقل إلى قناة الميادين سنة 2011 ليقدم برنامج بيت القصيد.
صدر له دواوين وكتب من المختارات الشعرية منها: حطّاب الحيرة صَادَقوا قمراً في مَهبّ النساء ماذا تَفعلينَ بي يعرفك مايكل آنجلو راقصيني قليلاً كيف نجوت، الدار العربية للعلوم ناشرون تتبرج لأجلي أضاهيك أُنوثة تجري من تحتها الأنهار

“تعريف القُبلة” هو الكتاب الثامن عشر للشاعر والإعلامي اللبناني زاهي وهبي ضمنه مجموعة من قصائد الحب والوجدان بلغة دافئة حميمة قريبة من القارئ وبأسلوب منفرد وسلس.
تناول في طياته قضايا إنسانيّة مهمّة، تخص المرأة والرجل والصداقة والناس وسرطان الثدي وغيرها من المسائل الإجتماعية الإنسانية المهمة.
نقرأ له: "أبحث عن امرأة
في زفير الصباح
في رقّة الرذاذ
في هدير العاصفة
في الانتظار الراجف كريشةٍ في مهبّ
عند ناصية الحيرة
على دروب الشكّ
وفي طمأنينة اليقين."
زاهي وهبي شاعر وإعلامي لبناني. أعدّ وقدّم برامج عديدة أشهرها "خليك بالبيت" و"ست الحبايب" (تلفزيون المستقبل)، وبرنامج "بيت القصيد" (قناة الميادين). يكتب أسبوعياً في جريدة "الحياة" ومجلّة "زهرة الخليج". منحه "صالون الخريف" الباريسي العريق درعاً تقديرية. واختارته مجلّتا "نيوزويك" و"آرابيان بيزنس" واحداً من الشخصيات العربية المؤثّرة، وبات أول عربي يُمنح الجنسية الفلسطينية تقديراً لمواقفه الداعمة لنضال الشعب الفلسطيني. غنّى قصائده مرسيل خليفة وأحمد قعبور وأميمة الخليل وهبة قواس وجاهدة وهبه وغيرهم. ترجمت بعض قصائده إلى الإنكليزية والفرنسية والإسبانية.
