أحيانًا ما يكون المرء فى حاجة لأنْ يعتزل العالم من حوله كى يرى نفسه بوضوح، وخاصة بعدم انعدم وجوده الحقيقى وانصهر فى بوتقة زرقاء، وأصبح خليطًا لزجًا من "لايكاتٍ وشاتات".
هذا العالم الافتراضى انعدمت إنسانيته الواقعية، إذ اكتفى بتعبير "أحزننى"، وانعدم شعوره الحقيقى وخفقان قلبه، إذ اكتفى بتعبير "أحببت ذلك"، ومن ثم افتقد لذلك الحب الحقيقى الذى ألفناه وورثناه عن آبائنا وأجدادنا، وانطلق ينثر كلمات معسولة تنسل من بين أصابعه اعتباطًا على تلك الشاشة المتحجرة، والتى تورث – بطبيعتها- ذلك التحجر لمعتنقيها
ومن هنا جاءت فكرة رواية "ثآليل الذكريات" علَّها تمس وترًا حساسًا فى قلب القارئ قبل أن ينعدم شعوره تمامًا، آملة أن تأخذ بيده فى نهاية المطاف وتعود به إلى عالم هو ينتمى إليه فى الأصل ويحبه، ومن ثَمَّ يُدرك أن خلوده فى هذا العالم الافتراضى ما هو إلا تبديد لوقت هو أحق به وأهله، وأن العلاقات التى تأتى من الشاشة تنتهى عندها حتما، فما هى إلا علاقات عابرة لا تجلب له سوى التعاسة، فالكل على أرض هذا العالم الأزرق مثالى حد السماء.
