وليس من شك أيضاً في أن حياة المحبين الإلهيين ومواجيدهم التي عرض المؤلف لبعض نماذج منها في هذا الكتاب، ستثير في كثير من النفوس الزكية أشواقاً وأذواقاً، وستفتح أمام كثير من القلوب المستعدة للحياة الروحية أبواباً وآفاقاً؛ وحسب أصحاب هذه القلوب وتلك النفوس أنهم سيجدون مع أولئك المحبين أن للحب معنى أسمى من معناه الإنساني الحسي أو العذري، وأن للجمال وجهاً أصفى، بل هو خير وأبقى، من كل ما يقع عليه الحسّ وتنجذب إليه النفس في العالم الخارجي.
