نحن هنا أمام عمل لا نبالغ إذا قلنا إنه موسوعة صغرى في ما يتعلق بالنشر في لبنان، تاريخه وتطوّره، متاعبه وآفاقه، صلته بالكاتب والقارئ والسوق، فضلاً عن الناشر نفسه، وأخيراً لا آخراً: العلاقة بين منبعه اللبناني ومصبّه العربي.
