ولد بمحافظة الشرقية في نوفمبر من عام 1979م، وتلقى تعليمه الأساسي بها، وحفظ جزءا من القرآن الكريم في سن التاسعة من عمره.
عرف بالتفوق الدراسي وبعشق القراءة من سن صغيرة.
أتم دراسته الثانوية والتحق بكلية الحقوق ثم غير مساره للإعلام، ممارسة ودراسة.
بجانب قراءاته في التاريخ والأدب والفلسفة وعلم النفس درس اللغة العربية والعلوم الإسلامية بشتى فروعها ودرس مناهج البحث العلمي دراسة غير أكاديمية..
وتعمق في الصراع العربي الصهيوني، والعلوم السياسية.

(( لم يكن الأمر يتعلقُ بشيءٍ حسي.
كان حضورها الطاغي أمرًا مُربكًا، صوتُها كنُحاسٍ سائل، رفرفاتها القلقة في محيط المكان ليست كرفرفة فراشة، تضرب الهواءَ بغيرِ أجنحةٍ ولا بد أن يصيبكَ منها شيء، مُخطئ مَن شبَّه الأنثى بالفراشة. تلك هي؛ نادية. مخلوقٌ عجيبٌ لا مُشابهَ له، في وجودِها لا تشُمُّ عِطرًا وحسب، لكنه عِطرٌ ممتزجٌ بها، فإذا ذَهَبَت بقي عبقُها في الفراغِ الذي شغلته منذ برهة)).
بعد روايته القصيرة التي لاقت أصداءً طيبة (( رقص طفيف )) يُجرب الكاتب – في اثنتي عشرة قصة – مزيدًا من التكثيف عبر شخصيات لا يجمع بينها إلا التنوع والاختلاف، فيمد خيطًا رفيعًا من شجن يبدأ من انتفاضة 1977، لينتهي في يناير 2011، ثم ينتقل في قصة تالية ليمد خيطًا من رومانسية بين شخوص لم يسبق لها أن التقت، أو خيطًا من شجن بين مَن تفرقوا مِن بعد لقاء، أو يتتبع طرافة أنثى على أعتاب النضج، تتدفق مشاعرها بلا رابط.
