هذا الكتاب يحاول الاقتراب أكثر من "الكرة الإفريقية" بحيث لا تكون هاتان الكلمتان مبهمتَين عند سماعهما، فلا يسود التعميم بسطحيته، بل يتوفر بدلا منه فهم أفضل للعبة في القارة وإلمام بأهم محطات تاريخها.
