بالأمسِ القريب كنتُ أرتادُ القصائدَ خلسةً، ما بين الاشتهاء والتحفظ ؛ لأنني كنتُ أجوب أروقة الشعر يمينا ويسارًا دون أن تتخضبُ يميني بنظمهِ
ولا أن أُشبعُ نهمي من ألوان طيفه حينَ تلثمُ مشاعري وتنفذ إلى عمق الروح.
لذا كان لزامًا عليَّ أن أرتاد بحور الشعرِ وأقتُلها بحثًا ودراسةً حتى أترك العنان لقلمي وخيالي فيحملاني إلى ذلك الحلم الذي طالما راودني وقَلًَّدني في يومٍ قلادة سحرية
ووهجًا لحياة أكثر مرحًا ومتعةً ورقيًّا.
وها قد حانت لحظة ميلاد ديواني الأول «على حافة الشوق»
ليكون تلك البوتقة التي تنصهر فيها مشاعرنا على اختلافها...
أتمنى أن يكون مرآةً لذاتِ كل مَن يقرؤه وأن ينالَ إعجابكم..
