إن فكرة الحقيقة الإلهية وفكرة توحيد الإله من أسمى الفكر في تاريخ الوجود البشري وأهمها عقلياً ودينياً، فبصحتها يصح الإيمان وتقبل الأعمال ، وقد عالجها الفلاسفة والأنبياء كل بأسلوبه الخاص، عالجها الفلاسفة بأسلوبهم العقلي، فتشبعت بهم الطرق وعمى على الناس وجه الصواب، وعالجها الأنبياء بوحي السماء، فاستبان الحق وإنتشر الضياء.
ورغم ما بذله الفلاسفة وماجاء به الأنبياء، فقد ظلت الفكرة مجالاً للبحث والنظر حتى جاء الإسلام، فقال الكلمة الأخيرة وأقام الدلائل القاطعة والبراهين الواضحة على الصحيح في هذه الفكرة.
