( بحسب مواقع الكترونية: ديك الجن هو اسم مستعار للكاتب جهاد أبو حشيش ) وهذا ما نفاه الكاتب ديك الجن، هو اللقب الذي اختاره الشاعر الحمصي عبد السلام بن رغبان والذي عاش في العصر العبّاسي لنفسه، إلا أن ديك الجن بعث من مرقده في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان ليؤلف قصصًا باللهجة الأردنية المحكية عن الحياة اليومية عوضًا عن الفصحى وعلى موقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيسبوك ليكون الانتشار رقميًا وتحت اسم مستعار لا يعرف صاحبه أحد.
يتجاوز عدد المعجبين بصفحة كتابات ديك الجن على فيسبوك أكثر من مئة وخمسون ألف معجب وتحظى الصفحة برواج ملحوظ نسبيا على موقع التواصل هذا.
يعد كتاب "مأمون القانوني" إصداره الأول عبر دار فضاءات للنشر في الأردن.

واسمه عبد السلام بن رغبان بن عبد السلام بن حبيب بن عبد الله بن رغبان بن مزيد بن تميم الكلبي الحمصي[1] شاعر عباسي، مولود عام (161 هجري) في مدينة حمص في ما يطلق عليه اليوم سوريا، وتوفى عام (236 هجري). وصل شعره مفرّقاً في كتب الأدب والنقد والتراجم، وقد تتبع الناقد (ابن وَكِيع التَنيسي) عندما ألف كتابه (المنصف في نقد الشعر) الذي درس فيه شعر المتنبي، وتتبع سرقاته الشعرية وأعادها إلى مواطنها، فرأى أن ديك الجن من أهم المواطن التي سطا عليها المتنبي. وما ينطبق على ابن وكيع، ينطبق على (السريّ الرفّاء) في كتابه (المحبّ والمحبوبّ) الذي تناول فيه الخمر وأوصافها في الشعر.
