ابن ناصر الدين الدمشقي (777 - 842 هـ = 1375 - 1438 م)
محمد بن عبد الله ( أبي بكر) بن محمد ابن أحمد بن مجاهد القيسي الدمشقي الشافعي، شمس الدين، الشهير بابن ناصر الدين: حافظ للحديث، مؤرخ. أصله من حماة. ولد في دمشق، وولي مشيخة دار الحديث الأشرفية (سنة 837) وقتل شهيدا في إحدى قرى دمشق. من كتبه (افتتاح القاري لصحيح البخاري) و (عقود الدرر في علوم الأثر) و (الرد الوافر - ط) في الانتصار لابن تيمية، و (برد الأكباد عن فقد الأولاد - ط) و (شرح منظومة الاصطلاح - خ) في مصطلح الحديث، و (بديعة البيان - خ) أرجوزة في التراجم، على طريقة مبتكرة في تواريخ الوفيات، و (التبيان - خ) شرحها، و (السراق والمتكلم فيهم من الرواة - خ) و (كشف القناع عن حال من ادعى الصحبة أو له اتباع - خ) و (الإعلام بما وقع في مشتبه الذهبي من الأوهام - خ) رأيته في مجلد واحد مع التبيان، واستفدت منهما، و (المولد النبوي) ثلاثة أجزاء، و (سلوة الكئيب بوفاة الحبيب - خ) في خزانة الرباط (2694 كتاني) و (مختصر إعراب القرآن، للسفاقسي - خ) النصف الثاني منه، في الظاهرية بدمشق، و (ريع الفرع، في شرح حديث أم زرع - خ) رسالة في خزانة الرباط (2124 كتاني)

Book Description
يعد كتاب "الرد الوافر" على من زعم بأنّ من سمى ابن تيمية شيخ الإسلام: كافر" من الكتب المهمة الذي ألفها الشيخ العلامة محمد ابن أبي بكر ابن ناصر الدين الدمشقي الشافعي وهو كتاب في الدفاع عن شيخ الإسلام أحمد ابن تيمية - بحق -، وأنه شيخ الإسلام، مع أن الذين شملهم هذا اللقب في التاريخ كثيرون جداً، ولكنه أشهرهم به.
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب، اعتنى بتحقيقه الأستاذ زهير الشاويش وعمل على مقابلة نسخة، وتصحيح الكلمات الغير واضحة، كما عزا الآيات الكريمة إلى مواضعها في المصحف، وخرّج الأحاديث النبوية، ونسب ما فيه من أشعار إلى قائليها، ووضع بعض العناوين المناسبة، كما عرّف الأقلام الواردة في الكتاب.
