ابن مودود الموصلي (599 - 683 هـ = 1203 - 1284 م)
عبد الله بن محمود بن مودود الموصلي البلدحي، مجد الدين أبو الفضل: فقيه حنفي، من كبارهم.
ولد بالموصل، ورحل إلى دمشق، وولي قضاء الكوفة مدة.
ثم استقر ببغداد مدرسا، وتوفي فيها. له كتب، منها «الاختيار لتعاليل المختار - ط» فقه، شرح به كتابه «المختار - خ» في فروغ الحنفية، في شستربتي (4360) وفي جامعة الرياض (1446)
