زروق (846 - 899 هـ = 1442 - 1493 م)
أحمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى البرنسي الفاسي، أبو العباس، زروق: فقيه محدث صوفي.
من أهل فاس (بالمغرب) تفقه في بلده وقرأ بمصر والمدينة، وغلب عليه التصوف فتجرد وساح، وتوفي في تكرين (من قرى مسراتة، من أعمال طرابلس الغرب) له تصانيف كثيرة يميل فيها إلى الاختصار مع التحرير، وانفرد بجودة التصنيف في التصوف.
من كتبه (شرح مختصر خليل) في فقه المالكية، و (النصيحة الكافية لمن خصه الله بالعافية - ط) و (القواعد - ط) في التصوف، و (إعانة المتوجه المسكين، على طريق الفتح والتمكين - خ) اقتنيت نسخة منه كتبت سنة 969 وله عدة شروح للحكم العطائية، منها (شرح - خ) في خزانة الرباط (401 جلا) و (الحوادث والبدع - خ) رسالة، في أول المجموعة (1157 كت) في خزانة الرباط و (الجنة، للمعتصم من البدع بالسنة) و (البدع التي يفعلها فقراء الصوفية) مئة فصل. و (الكناشة) و (رحلة) و (شرح رسالة أبي زيد القيرواني - ط) فقه وللشيخ عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الله ابن محمد بن أبي بكر العياشي، كتاب (الأنوار السنية على الوظيفة الزروقية - خ) وقعت لي منه نسخة مغربية متقنة، عرف فيها زروقا بأبي العباس (أحمد بن محمد ابن عيسى البرنوسي الفاسي الشاذلي) نسبه إلى جده، باختصار أبيه أحمد.
وقال: (توفي سنة 896) وهذه رواية ثانية في سنة وفاته، ذكرها بعض المترجمين له أيضا
