يروي "هنري دروموند" في كتابه The Greatest Thing in The World قصة طفل صغير كان مريضًا للغاية، وكان الصبي يحتضر. وكان الوالدان يشعران بأسى شديد، ولكن لم يكن هناك شيء يمكن للأطباء القيام به. وفي أحد الأيام دخل رجل دين مسن إلى المنزل ولاحظ كيف كان والداه مكتئبين، وسألهما لماذا هما تعيسان هكذا؛ فقيل له إن ابنهما الصغير كان مريضًا للغاية ويتوقعان أن يموت. وسأل رجل الدين عن مكان الصبي وقيل له إلى أي غرفة نوم يذهب إليها. ودخل رجل الدين المسن غرفة النوم، ووضع يده على رأس الطفل الصغير وقال له: "يا بني، إن الخالق يحبك، ألا تعرف ذلك؟"، وخرج من الغرفة، ثم غادر المنزل بعد ذلك بوقت قصير. وبعد رحيله، قفز الصبي الصغير الذي كان مريضًا من الفراش، وركض في جميع أنحاء المنزل وهو يصيح قائلًا: "إن الخالق يحبني... إن الخالق يحبني". ولم يعد مريضًا، بل صار صبيًا معافى وقويًّا ومتمتعًا بالصحة.
