تناقض الحياة على صفحات الروايات حسب فلسفة الكاتب ورؤيته للأحداث فالسجن يتناوله ويظهره كمبنى محاط بأسوار شائكة وقضبان حديدية ويقبع خلفه أناس مذنبون قد لا يكون سجنا حقيقيا وإنما بيتا أو وطنا يحتبس داخله الإنسان بلا إرادة منه، وكذلك الشخوص الذين يحركهم كيفما يشاء قد لا يكونون أشخاصا حقيقيين بصفتهم الاعتبارية المعتادة بل أكبر من ذلك بكثير فقد يكونون تيارا أو حزبا ذا اثر وتأثير في الحياة بعدما بسط نفوذه وسيطرته على مفاصل المجتمع أستطاع أن يتوغل إلى عقول ثلة كبيرة من البشر المخدوعين أصحاب الإرادة المسلوبة والتفكير السلبي والأجوف التي يسهل السيطرة عليها بفضل الشعارات الرنانة التي تختار بعناية وتصنع بدهاء وتقدم بخبث.أما البسطاء المضطهدون الذين يزرحون تحت ردهات القهر وويلات القبر فلم يكونوا سوى أداة تحركها الظروف كيفما تشاء ، لكن لا يأمن جانبهم، فقد يظهرون فجأة دون سابق إنذار ليستدلوا على طريقهم نحو البقعة المشعة التي بالوصول إليها تحقق الآمال والرغبات. فقسوة الحياة ورهاب المجتمع ساعدهم على مواصلة المسير للانعتاق من قيود القهر والتسلط وخطف الألباب.
