هي مجموعة من الأحاديث الإذاعية الممتعة والمشوقة التي ألقاها المازني على مسامع الناس عبر الأثير، أي أنها صيغت في الأصل أحاديث لتقال فيتلقفها السامع، ولم تكتب ليتلقفها القارئ، لذلك اتسمت هذه الأحاديث (المكتوبة) بخفَّة الموضوع وجاذبيَّته. وقد تناول المازني فيها موضوعات عدة، منها ما كان في الأدب والنقد، ومنها ما كان في التاريخ، كهجرة الرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام، ومصرع الحسين، وقد خامر هذه الأحاديث روح السخرية والفكاهة الملازمة للمازني وأسلوبه الساحر والفتَّان في عرض ومناقشة الموضوعات.
