ديفيد فريزر-هاريس: أُسْتاذٌ فسيولوجيٌّ وكاتِبٌ اسكتلنديٌّ شَهِير.
وُلِدَ ديفيد فريزر-هاريس في مَدينةِ إدنبرة بالمَمْلكةِ المتَّحدةِ عامَ ١٨٦٧م من أبٍ إنجليزيٍّ وأمٍّ اسكتلندِيَّة، وتلقَّى تَعْليمَه الجامِعيَّ في جامعةِ جلاسكو، ثم تابَعَ دراساتِه العُليا في جامعاتِ برن وزيورخ وهايدلبرج. عَمِلَ أُسْتاذًا في عدَّةِ جامِعات، وكان آخِرُ مَناصِبِه العِلميةِ أُسْتاذًا للفسيولوجيِّ في جامِعةِ دالهوزي منذُ عامِ ١٩١١م حتى تَقاعُدِه عامَ ١٩٢٤م.
لَه العَديدُ مِنَ الكُتُب، منها: «مُستقبَلُ النَّوم»، و«الأَعْصاب»، و«الأُسُسُ الكيميائيةُ للحِياة».
كانَ عَطاؤُه العِلميُّ كبيرًا في تَخصُّصِه، لا سِيَّما أنه استطاعَ أنْ يَمزجَ الطبَّ بمعرفتِه التاريخيَّة. تُوفِّيَ فريزر في فبراير عامَ ١٩٣٧م.
