كذلك اعتبر الرقص فناً راقياً مقدساً تزاوله الآلهة وتستمتع بمشاهدته، ويمارسه الملك أو من يمثله في الاحتفالات والأعياد، ويقبل عليه الجميع يستوي في ذلك العامة والخاصة، كما أكثروا من تصويره -ضمن ما صوروه من مظاهر الحياة اليومية- على جدران مقابرهم، مما أتاح لنا تكوين فكرة لابأس بها عن أنواعه وحركاته ومظاهره المختلفة.
