ومن ضمن بلاغة القرآن تعرضه لذكر الحيوانات في مواضع عدة إما تبياناً لتحريم كالخنزير, أو لوصف خلق ذميم لبعض البشر كالحمار والكلب والغراب, أو للتفكر في آيات الخلق كالإبل والبعوض والذباب والعنكبوت أو لتشريف هذه الحيوانات كالخيل, وهناك سور سميت بأسماء بعض الحيوانات التي ذكرت فيها وهى: البقرة والنمل والعنكبوت والنحل والفيل والأنعام
ومن ثم, يأتي هذا الكتاب محاولة للتعرض لكل هذه الكائنات القرآنية, التي ذكرها القرآن الكريم فكان لها تكريما وتشريفا.
