ومع البحث المستمر في القواميس والمعاجم توافر لدي حوالي مائتي مادة لغوية قوامها الدهر ومعانيه، وأفعاله المؤثرة، وأسماؤه المتعددة، وحالاته المتباينة، فرتبت هذه المادة اللغوية وفقًا للترتيب المتعارف عليه في صنع المعاجم العربية الحديثة وهو الترتيب الألفبائي مستعينًا بالآيات القرآنية والأحاديث القدسية والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وأحاديث بعض الصحابة فيما يتعلق بلفظة الدهر، ومستشهدًا في الوقت نفسه بوجود المادة اللغوية في عالم الأدب العربي
