ويحكي الكتاب عن الحفاة في مصر ، وعملية الإخصاء التي كانت تتم في الصعيد ، وما يحدث من غرائب في حلقة السمك بالأنفوشي، وأصحاب الأضرحة والنذور في الإسكندرية، وعن المبارة التي تحدث كثيرا في العشق والزواج بين المسلمين والمسيحيين ، والمطالبة بإنشاء المجلس القومي للرجل، ليحصل الرجال على حقوقهم من ظلم النساء.
