لبيبة ماضي هاشم: أديبةٌ وصحفيةٌ لبنانيةٌ، كانَ لها دورٌ رائدٌ في الحركةِ النسائيةِ وتعليمِ الفتيات.
وُلدتْ لبيبة ناصيف ماضي في قريةِ «كفر شيما» اللبنانيةِ في عامِ ١٨٨٠م، وقدْ تلقَّتْ تعليمَها ﺑ «مدرسة العازريات» ببيروت حتى تخرَّجتْ فيها، تَميَّزتْ مُنذُ صِغَرِها بحُبِّها الشديدِ للمُطالَعةِ والتعلُّم.
انتقلَتْ لبيبة بعدَ ذلِكَ مَعَ عائلتِها إلى مِصر، وهناك تتلمذَتْ على يدِ الشيخِ والأديبِ الكبيرِ «إبراهيم اليازجي»، كما تَعلَّمَتِ اللُّغتَيْنِ الفرنسيةَ والإنجليزيةَ وأجادَتْهما، وقَدْ تلقَّبَتْ ﺑ «لبيبة هاشم» بعدَ زواجِها مِنَ الأديبِ «عبده هاشم».
تفتَّحَتِ الموهبةُ الأدبيَّةُ لِلَبيبة منذُ الصِّغَر، فأصدرَتْ وهيَ شابَّةٌ مجلةَ «فتاة الشرق» في عامِ ١٩٠٦م، كما قدَّمَتْ عدةَ كُتبٍ أدبيةٍ مُتنوِّعة، بالإضافةِ إلى ترجمتِها عدةَ رواياتٍ مِنَ الفرنسيةِ إلى العربية، مثلِ «الغادةُ الإنجليزية»، وقَدْ دُعِيَتْ لإلقاءِ بعضِ المحاضراتِ في الجامعةِ المصرية.
تُوفِّيَتْ لبيبة بالقاهرةِ في عامِ ١٩٥٢م.
Book Description
« الغادة الانجليزيّة» رواية ذات طابع رومنسي، ترجمتها ونقلتها إلى اللغة العربيّة الأديبة والصّحفية اللبنانية لبيبة ماضي هاشم، وهي رواية تتألّف من أربعة عشر فصلًا، تتّسم بسياقها الاجتماعي البسيط، وبنائها اللغوي الرّشيق، مجهولةً الكاتب، إذ لم تنقل ماضي اسم مؤلّفها.
عدم ذكر اسم المؤلّف أثار شكوكًا كبيرةً، ولا سيّما أنّ لبيبة ماضي لم تترجم أيّ عمل آخر سوى هذه الرّواية، ممّا حدا بعضَ النقّاد للشكّ بأنّ ماضي هي المؤلّفة، حتّى أنه قد اعتقد فريق منهم أنها كتبت الرّوايةَ عن بيئة أجنبيّة خشيةَ مواجهة قيود المجتمعات الشرقيّة وقتئذٍ، فالرواية ضعيفة الصّلة بالثقافة الأجنبيّة، بل إنه تقارب سطحي لا يكاد يُذكر، وإن وُجدت هذه الصّلة فهي لا تعدو عن أسماء أجنبيّةٍ للأبطال والأماكن التي تدور فيها الأحداث.
« الغادة الانجليزيّة» صورةٌ عن الأدب النسوي العربي، التي لها دورها الفاعل في تنمية العقليّة العربيّة وتشكيلها انطلاقًا من عصور النّهضة الأدبيّة. ترسم طبائع المرأة وفطرتها وجماليّات أنوثتها في قالبٍ أدبي شيّق.
