ديوان "الشوقيات"، من أشهر دواوين الشعر العربي الحديث، وهو من تأليف أمير الشعراء أحمد شوقي، وهو مصري، من أعظم شعراء العربية، رغم أن والده شركسي، وأمه من أصولٍ يونانية، وتربى تحت رعاية جدته لأمه التي كانت تعمل كوصيفةٍ في قصر الخديوي إسماعيل، ودخل الكُتّاب وهو في عمر أربع سنين، وقد بويع بإمارة الشعر في حفلٍ كبيرٍ في القاهرة، في عام 1927، وسمي ديوانه "الشوقيات" بهذا الاسم نسبةً لاسم الشاعر، ويحوي هذا الديوان قصائد عديدة، وآثاراً شعرية كثيرة، حيث يتميز شعر هذا الديوان بأنه متعدد الأغراض، وله أهدافٌ عدة جعلت منه ديواناً ممتعاً بعيداً عن الملل والتقليد، حيث يوجد فيه قصائد حبٍ غزلية، وقصائدَ رثائية أبّن فيها الشاعر عدة رجالات من مصر وزعمائها الذين عاصرهم، وقصائد وصف، كما ضم العديد من القصائد التي ذكر فيها أعلام التاريخ وعدد مآثرهم ومناقبهم، وفيه أيضاً تاريخ للعديد من الأحداث والمناسبات الاجتماعية والسياسية، وقصائد محكية على ألسنة الحيوانات والطيور فيها الكثير من الحكمة والعبرة.
