قرأت حكمت البعيني يحدثنا عن «مواطن لبناني اسمه الشأن العام وُلد في 22 تشرين الثاني عام 1943 بعملية قيصرية اسمها الاستقلال»، فكانت طائرة من ورق «صنعها رجال كبار على أرض لبنان وطيّرها صبية صغار في سماء لبنان»، ثم قرأته يحدثنا عن لبنانيين «استبدلوا خلاياهم البشرية بمكونات طائفية»... لم ينسَ حكمت ذلك التاجر اللبناني «الذي برع في بيع 10452 كيلومتراً مربعاً من العقارات عدة مرات لعدة أشخاص وعدة جهات». لم ينسَ أن يحدثنا عن دولة «تعشق أغنياءها وتكره فقراءها»... «دولة الأغنياء من دون حياء والثراء من دون شقاء...». زياد بارود.
