يتناول هذا الكتاب دراسة حول " ورشة إبداعية " لدور المسرح وأهميته داخل قصور الثقافة، وأيضاً أهمية الورشة في العمل المسرحي بشكل عام، حيث يوضح الكتاب أهمية فن المسرح، وذلك في إطار السياسات الجديدة لتدريب العاملين في هذا المجال، لكي يكون لديهم القدرة على الفهم لمفردات الفنون المختلفة النص، التمثيل، الملابس، المناظر، الموسيقى،...إلخ، بأسلوب علمي وعملي، وأيضا لكي تكون لدى المتدربين رؤية يستطيعون من خلالها البناء والتطوير لعملهم الإبداعي، حيث أن الاهتمام بالفنون وبخاصة فن المسرح، هي إحدى الركائز الأساسية لبرامج التنمية المستقبلية. وانطلاقا من هذه الأهداف، اعتمدت هذه التجربة على عنصرين جوهريين العنصر الأول: التفاعلية Interactive، والثاني: التعلم عن طريق العمل Learning by doing في إعداد العرض المسرحي، والذي كانت فيه أشعار أمل دنقل هي ركيزة العمل الفني.
