ارتدت ذات الطبيبة معطفها الأبيض فوق زي العمليات السماوي.. وتوجهت نحو إحدى الغرف وهي تراجع الملف الطبـي لأحد الأطفال.. اقتربت منها إحدى زميلاتها وهي تقول في مرح:
- أحسنت يا (سام).. لقد سمعت بما فعلته اليوم.
ابتسمت (سام) وهي تقول:
- لم أكن لوحدي.. الفريق كله كان رائعا.. والصبـي كان مقاتلا صغيرا.
ثم لوحت لها بيدها وهي تدخل إلى غرفة الألعاب المشتركة للأطفال قائلة:
- أراك لاحقا.
وما أن دخلت الغرفة حتى أسرع نحوها عدد من الأطفال وهم يهتفون:
- (سام)!
راحوا يتكلمون جميعا في ذات الوقت.. فضحكت هي في مرح وهي تقول:
- مرحبا يا أصدقاء.. كيف حالكم اليوم؟
اقتربت منها إحدى الأمهات وهي تمسك بيد فتاة صغيرة لتسألها:
- كيف حال (آني) الآن؟
ابتسمت (سام) وهي تقول:
- لقد أتت نتائج فحوصاتها وكلها بخير.. يمكنها أن تعود معك إلى المنزل اليوم.
