هذا البحث عن "سيكولوجية الدعاء" محاولة لتغطية دقيقة وعلمية للمعنى النفسي المراد من الدعاء لله تعالى، كون الدعاء يُستعمل بين المؤمنين بكثرة مع كل المواقف الصعبة والمشكلات والقرارات التي يمروّن بها، ودائماً ما يتم التذكير من قبل علماء الدين أو العامة من المؤمنين بالدعاء كآلية حل أو بقعة ضوء للفرج أو سترة نجاة من الخطر أو لزرع الأمل. في هذا الكتاب يسجل الكاتب الدكتور ملهم زهير الحراكي بعض الملامح العامة عن الجوانب النفسية المعرفية والسلوكية للدعاء. ويُبيّن أن للدعاء أثراً كبيراً على حياة الإنسان وجهازه النفسي (المعرفي والسلوكي)، وخاصة عندما يكون الدعاء على هيئة برنامج عملي ونظري يضع الهدف ويكرره، طالباً تحقيقه من القوة المطلقة للكون مسبب الأسباب الله جل وعلا.. إن هدف هذا الكتاب تصحيح الفهم الحالي للدعاء لله تعالى ومحاولة تفعيل قوى الدعاء المعطّلة، وذلك من خلال تسليط الضوء على الانعكاسات الإيجابية والفاعلة للدعاء على نفس وعقل الإنسان المؤمن الداعي إلى ربه، بشكلٍ يُؤثر على خططه ويُعدل برامجه وسلوكياته وقراراته في الحياة... - أسئلة يجيب عليها هذا الكتاب: ? هل الدعاء لوحده يحقق معجزة؟! أم هو مجرد إعلان خطة عمل بدأتَ فعلياً بها؟! ? لمَ هنالك صياغات محددة من الدعاء واردة في السنة الشريفة حسب كل موقف؟! ? هل من الأخذ بالأسباب لتحقيق ما دعوت الله به حسن التخطيط وتعلّم وضع الأهداف وغيرها من المهارات؟! أم مجرد النوايا الحسنة وبعض الخطوات البسيطة كافية ليحقق الله ما دعوته إياه؟! - لقد كانت هذه هي التساؤلات الدائمة للمؤلف يلقيها على نفسه على مدى عشر سنوات، حينما كان يتأمل سلوك الدعاء في نفسه وعند الآخرين عموماً وكلمات الدعاء الواردة في القرآن والسُّنَّة، وهو يواجه كلماته الجذلة المكثفة، بتساؤلاتٍ هي التالية: - ما هو الأثر المفترض لهذا الدعاء على نفسي ومعارفي وسلوكياتي؟! - كيف أفعّله؟! وأستثمره في حياتي؟! - وكانت محاولة الإجابة على هذه التساؤلات هي في هذا الكتاب
