لا يتميَّزُ هذا الكتابُ عن غيره في تبويبٍ، أو لغةٍ بلاغيَّةٍ، بل يتَّبع سنن من قبله من مؤلفي هذا الفن، الجديدُ فيه حقًّا أنَّ المؤلف اتَّخذ من أساتذته أمثلة يحتذى حذوها في الصبر والصلاح؛ وقلَّما أن يتمَّ توثيق كرامات المعاصرين وسيرهم وأحوالهم، فجُلُّ كتب الرقائق والأذكار توقَّفت عند القرن الحادي عشر في الأمثلة المستشهد بها. وأظنَّ أنَّ كتابًا كهذا كفيلٌ بلفت أذهان طُلّاب العلم نحوَ أساتذتهم في أحوالِهم أقوالِهم أخلاقِهم وأفعالِهم، فهم ربَّما بل كثيرًا ما يكونون من أولياء الله وخاصَّـته، الأمر الذي يبعث التَّفاؤلَ في قلوب السّائرين بأنَّنا قد نصل يومًا لما وصل إليه السّابقون وهو ما يخالف الفكرةَ السّائدةَ بأنَّ من مضى لم يدع شيئًا لمن غبر، فباب الولاية لم يسد؛ إذ من سجَّل لهم المؤلِّف لا يفصل بيننا وبينهم أكثر من عشرين عامًا، فكتابٌ كهذا يمكن يشكِّل ثورةً جديدةً في التَّصنيف في هذا الباب؛ إذا نُظر إليه من هذا الباب.
