في احدى ليالي تشرين المقمرة، حسنا بالغت قليلا (تأثرا ببعض أغاني فيروز) في شهر ديسمبر من عام 2013 وصلني خبر بأن هناك صحيفة جديدة اسمها صحيفة مكة و أنهم يبحثون عن كاتبات . حسنا تبدو كفرصة رائعة، حسنا ما هذا المغص؟ ما هذا الخوف؟ ما دقات القلب المتزايدة هذه؟ ما هذه الاسئلة الغريبة التي تتصاعد الى رأسي في صورة كائنات صغيرة، هلامية، لا وجه لها، و كل واحد منها يصرخ على حدة ( لست بالمستوى المطلوب للكتابة في صحيفة!) ( ماذا تعرفين عن الكتابة في الصحف!) ( أنت لا تقرأين الصحف أساسا فكيف تكتبين بها!) ( أسلوبك و ما كتبتيه سابقا ليس هو ما يحتاجونه!) و غيرها من العبارات المشككه، المزلزلة، التي تظهر أمامنا و تشكل حاجزا منيعا من الهجوم و الدفاع في نفس الوقت، في محاولة من دواخلنا لمنعنا من فعل شيء جديد، خوفا من التعرض للفشل، الألم، أو حتى مجرد التغيير. و لكنني تعلمت درسا غاليا جدا جدا من الحياة من تجاربي السابقة. و هي أنني في كل مرة أتواجه فيها مع فرصة جديدة، قد تكون أحيانا سابقة لامكانياتي، و قد تكون أحيانا أعلى من قدراتي، إلا أنني دائما ما أقفز في اليم معولة على غريزة البقاء لإبقائي حية، و معولة على دافعيتي للتعلم لإيصالي الى بر الأمان. و قد كافئتني هذه التجارب بجرعات عالية من المعرفة و الخبرات التي يكتسبها الناس في سنوات و أكتسبها أنا على فترات شديدة القصر. و لا مانع من بعض الشيب المبكر، فهو في أسوأ الأحوال رمز للحكمة.
