يرى البعض ان التيارات السلفية احدثت في العقيدة الإسلامية، مثلما أحدث الهراطقة والوضاعون.. فإذا كان هؤلاء قد خاضوا في الإسلام تجريحاً وذماً، فالسلفيين على الجانب الآخر جمدوا الدين، واحتفظوا به في ثلاجات التاريخ لتفسده المواد الحافظة، مع أن الله سبحانه لم يشرع الدين إلا لصلاح المجتمعات.. وصلاح المجتمعات لا توجد أدواته في "ثلاجات" التاريخ! السلفيون رجعوا بالإسلام إلى الخلف، وعلبوه وقالوا إنهم احتكروا ماركاته وخلطاته بسيرهم على خطى السلف الصالح.. رغم أن السلف الصالح لا أمروا ولا شهدوا والأقرب أنهم لم يكونوا ليرضوا لو عرفوا محاولات تقليد السلف الصالح، ومحاكاة زمانهم رغم تغير الظروف واختلاف البلاد وتلون العباد، كانت فاحشة تاريخية.. ومقتاً إجتماعياً وساء سبيلاً، ثم إن الإسلام ليس ديناً سلفياً، ولم تنص شريعته على أن "السلف الصالح" رضوان الله عليهم كانوا هم الإسلام، ولا أن أقوالهم وأعمالهم، رضي الله عنهم جميعاً كانت عماد الدين، مع ذلك لازال بعض الذين ولدوا بعد أكثر من ألف وأربعمائة عام على وفاة الصحابة يرون ذلك، "أهل السل" إذن ليسوا أهل الله، حتى لو قالوا ذلك "فهم مقلدون" تراثيون، بينما الدين تقدمي.. عفا الله عما سلف، أو ما معنى قبل نزول الرسالة وجاءت شريعته واضعة المستقبل أمام أعينها.. للذين يتفكرون.. بينما السلفية لا يفعلون.. كان طريفاً إعلان السلفية عزمهم المشاركة السياسية.. بسئون دنيا المسلمين.. ويعتقدون أيضاً أنهم القيم على الدين القيم، هم يكذبون.. لذلك فربما يدخلون النار!!
