""زهرة البرقوق (الماي) هي زهرة قومية في الصين، تتفتح في الشتاء رغم شدة البرودة، وترمز إلى القوة، الثبات، الصمود، الدأب، التحمل، الصدق، الأناقة، والجمال في الثقافة الصينية.
