عرفنا أنه من بورسعيد وأنه لا يملك الإمكانيات الكافية لاستئجار حجرة للنوم فيها وأن أغلب أفراد فرقته من القاهرة وأنهم قد يتمكنون من استضافته لديهم إلا أنه قد يضطر إلى النوم أحيانا فى سيارة ميكروباص لا تعمل إلا ليلا فى نقل الآلات الموسيقية ثم تظل واقفة طول النهار أمام فندق الفاندوم، تم رفع بعض مقاعدها لتسمح بنقل الآلات الموسيقية الضخمة الحجم مثل آلات تكبير الصوت أو الأورج والدرامز. فكان يفرش أرضيتها وينام. هل تتذكرون أول أفلامه من إخراج خيري بشارة حوالي سنة 1993 فيلم (آيس كريم فى جليم)؟ هل تتذكرون أنه كان ينام في جاراج؟ الآن تعرفون أن الحقيقة كانت أكثر قسوة من الخيال حقا. لقد بدأ هذا الإنسان حياته من أول السلم و هو جدير لذلك بكل نجاح حققه لاحقا. شاهدته بعد ذلك سنة 1987 وقد زاد الطلب عليه وبدأ في إحياء الأفراح في القاهرة والإسكندرية فقد تقابلنا معه مرة فى حفل زفاف مقام في شيراتون الإسكندرية ثم انطلق إلى السماء و لم يستطع أحد أن يلحق به.
