ثم العصور الحديثة حيث يحدث التحلل التدريجي من الخضوع للسلطة مع تحديد مكانة العلم في القرن السابع عشر والفلسفة فى القرن الثامن عشر .
وتستقر الرحلة فى نهايتها عند تغلب المذهب المثالي في الفلسفة والمذهب المادى فى العلم فى القرن التاسع عشر .
