تتضايق من كل شيء، تكتئب، وترمي كل غيظك في وجه هذا العالم الغبي الذي لم يرتب الطريق أمامك. رغم أنك تعرف أن مصدر كل هذا العذاب هو جزء صغير منك، جزء لعين بإمكانه أن يحول حياتك في أي لحظة إلى جحيم. في قعر جمجمتك ذلك الشيء يسمی الذاكرة، يقال أنه يحتفظ بكل أفراحك وأتراحك. غير أنك لم تجد منه سوی المنغصات، وكأن وظيفته أن يستخرج أسوأ اللحظات التي عشتها في ماضيك البغيض، ويرميها في وجه حاضرك مبعثرًا بقايا ابتسامة تحاول جاهدًا لملمتها. دعنا نری أي ذكری قذرة انبعثت الآن. كان يوما ماطرًا، أنت تعشق المطر لكنك تكره أن يبلل ثيابك. ترهق نوافذك بانتظار تباشريه، وعند مقدمه تغلقها في وجهه بإحكام. ليس في الأمر تناقض بطبيعة الحال. ليس المطر وحده من يحدث ذلك معه، نحن نشتهي أشياء كثيرة نتلف أعمارنا في طلبها والبحث عنها، لكننا لا نريد أن نعيش لحظات ما بعد البلل تلك!
