Book Description
قصة عامر صارت ترنيمة ردّدتها الأمهات، ومازلن يُرَقّصْن الأطفال على إيقاع نغماتها، عامر الذي لم يمت ولكنه تاه، بين أكثر من بيت وبلد ولغة وامرأة وهو يحاول عبثاً الجمع بينهم في آن واحد، هذه روايةٌ نرى في هامشها أن الأمر لم يكن فيه من متسع للخيار كما يبدو!.
يتقدم عامر بطلب اللجوء في إحدى الدول المانحة، وأثناء الإنتظار الذي طال كثيراً يتعرف على امرأتين في آن واحد، مريم الآتية من "البصرة"، المدينة التي وُلِد فيها عامر، وهي التي استبد بها هاجس الإكتشاف والتمرد ولكن يخيفها مصطلح الإستقرار، الأمر الذي قادها إلى الدخول في مغامرة مع رجال السلطة في بلدها من دون حساب عواقبها.
أما المرأة الثانية فهي "تينا"، الأوروبية التي تريد عامر وتخشاه في الوقت نفسه، لعدم ثقتها به كرجل أولاً، وكرجل أجنبي ثانياً، متأثرة بظروف نشأتها وما تعرضت له في حياتها.
ستجعلنا دُنى نتآلف مع شخصيات هذه الرواية، لقربها الحياتي منهم في مدينة اتسمت بإنفتاح حياتها الإجتماعية في سنوات خلت، لذا نجد في الهامش (هامش الرواية حيث تقسم دُنى الرواية إلى رواية وهامش) إعادة سرد لحياة الشخصيات المهاجرة في المتن (الرواية)، وتتبع لجذور نشأتها الأولى، عبر عودة إلى الماضي وإضاءة بعض جوانب ما مرّ به العراق في فترة الستينات عبوراً إلى الفترة ما بعد الإنتفاضة 1991، ومنتصف التسعينات حيث سنوات الحصار التي أملت شروط عيش مغايرة تماماً.
