في عالم موبوء لا سلطان فيه لغير القهر، حيث يتحالف بأس الطبيعة وسطوة السلطة وجشعها لإذلال الإنسان، تقتفي هذه الرواية سيرة العشق في زمن الخراب، حيث لا تُحجّم أنهار الدم روعة الأنثى التي تعيد بخصبها رسم خرائط جديدة للحياة.
