لقد أشار هذا الكتاب إلى أنّ الإنسان الأول كان موحِّداً بالله عز وجلّ، ولم يطرأ على عقله أو فكره أو قلبه إله غيره حيث التزم بمنهجه وشرائعه وأحكامه التي أنزلها على أصفيائه من رسله وأنبيائه. ولكن إبليس وذريته لم يقفوا مكتوفي الأيدي إزاء ذلك فعملوا جاهدين على الفصل بين هذا الإنسان وخالِقه وذلك بتوجيهه إلى عبادة غيره مستخدمين دهاءهم ومَكرهم فأوحوا إليه بنحْت التماثيل للصالحين ليشفعوا له عند بارئه، ثُم عبادتهم من دون الله، ولم تقتصر عبادته على هؤلاء الصالحين فعبَد أيضاً بعض النجوم والكواكب والأقمار والحيوانات والطيور والحشرات والنباتات وغيرها. كما أشار هذا الكتاب كذلك إلى أن هذا الإنسان قد تخيَّر من بين ما عبده من دون الله إلهاً أعلى له وأطلق عليه أسماءً عديدة. وقد تَمّ عقد مقارنة بين هذه الأسماء وبين مثيلاتها في الدين السماوي . . واتضح تطابقاً بيِّناً بينهما مما أكد مما سبق الإشارة إليه من أن الإنسان الأول كان موحِّداً بالله عز وجلّ، فلما تخلى عن عبادته وعَبَد غيره فما كان منه إلّا أن أضفى عليه أسماء وصفات الله عز وجلّ.
