Book Description
إن قضية القدس، هي قضية العرب والمسلمين جميعاً، وهي وقف إسلامي لكل المسلمين، وهي تشكل محور الصراع العربي الصهيوني.
يستعرض المؤلف في القسم الأول التاريخ الموجز لمدينة القدس، ويفند دعاوى الصهاينة بأن اليهود أول من سكنها، وبين أن هذه المغالطات التاريخية والدينية يُمارسها أتباع الإيديولوجية الصهيونية، ووضح كيف كانت فلسطين عامة أرضاً للعرب اليبوسيين، ثم تعاقب عليها الكنعانيون، والفينيقيون والحثيون والعموريون، واستمر الحكم العربي لأكثر من ألفي عام.
ثم ذكر المؤلف كيف وقعت القدس تحت الانتداب البريطاني، الذي جيّر احتلاله للاستيطان اليهودي منذ وعد بلفور 1917م، واستعرض القرارات الدولية المتعلقة بها.
وتحدث المؤلف عن غياب موضوع القدس عن اتفاقيات كامب ديفيد، وذكر الإشكالات التي نشأت عن اتفاقات أوسلو وملحقاتها، ثم عن وضع القدس في وثيقة جنيف التي تعدّ وثيقة خطيرة لأنها غير رسمية، وفي مفاوضات كامب ديفيد 2 ومقترحات كلينتون عام 2000م.
يبين المؤلف في القسم الثاني من الكتاب موقف الغرب من احتلال القدس منذ عام 1948م حتى هزيمة عام 1967م، وصولاً إلى حرب رمضان /تشرين 1973م والذي اتخذ الغرب فيه موقفاً عدائياً من مصر والدول العربية المقاومة.
ثم استعرض المؤلف وضع القدس في ضوء قرارات الأمم المتحدة المتتالية، منذ قرار التقسيم والتناقضات التي نشأت عن الموقف الرسمي والعملي. كما وضح موقف أمريكا من موضوع القدس وخاصة التيار الديني المسيحي الصهيوني المتشدد الذي يشكل الداعم الرئيسي لإسرائيل.
