كاتب وروائى مصري، من مواليد 12 ديسمبر 1973، تخرج من الكلية الحربية المصرية عام 94 ضابطا بسلاح المدرعات، ثم ترك الخدمة عام 2005 ليصدر أول مجموعاته القصصية "نديم العدم" و يتبعها بمجموعة "جمهورية الغابة العربية" 2006 ثم رواية "سيد الأحلام" 2009 و "قهوة الحرية" 2010 و أخيرا رواية "كفر العبيط" 2013.
و هو يكتب مقالات فى العديد من الصحف و المواقع الإلكترونية مثل التحرير والبديل و المصرى اليوم، كما قام بإعداد بعض البرامج التليفزيونية ا السياسية على قناتى القاهرة و الناس و CBC و تقديم بعض البرامج الإذاعية الساخرة على قناة ميجا إف إم.

تعرف يعني ايه الحنين للماضي؟ تعرف يعني ايه لما ياخدك لبعيد طول الوقت؟ اكيد تعرف... لكن هل تتخيل ان الحنين للي فات وايامه ممكن يكون طريقك لاكتشاف نفسك واستعادة الذاكرة ؟، دي حكاية نديم بطل نوستالجيا... يستيقظ نديم عبد الرحمن جودت، ذلك الشاب الثلاثيني يوما ما ليجد نفسه وحيداً فاقداً للبصر والذاكرة، لا يعرف حتى اسمه، أو أين هو... ولكن يضطر لتلبية احتياجاته الطبيعية كإنسان و من خلال حواسه الاربعة الباقية، يبدأ في التعرف على نفسه رويداً رويداً.... فيتذكر اسمه عند سماع صوت اشتعال سخان الغاز في حمام المنزل وتتجسد في ذهنه صورة والدته عندما كانت تناديه صغيراً كي يخرج من الحمام ليلحق بالمدرسة.... وحين يشم رائحة زجاجة عطر كسرها لعدم قدرته على رؤيتها، يتذكر أنه كان له زوجه انفصل عنها ...وهكذا يواصل نديم اكتشاف حياته بالتدريج، عبر الحنين لكل ما مضى وبخاصة في مرحلة الطفولة والصبا... يستعيد علاقته بأصدقائه بصحبة حبيبته "المُتخيلة" فيسترد بصره ، ويبدأ بتذكر كل ما يخص الجميع حوله ويخص ذاته ...و عبر حاسة البصر، يكتشف نفسه من جديد، وهكذا تقدم لنا رواية "نوستالوجيا" لأسامة الشاذلي اسقاطاً على ذلك الحنين الذي يسكنا جميعا لكل ما عشناه في الماضي ونتغافل عنه في زحمة الحياة، رغم أن التركيز فيه يمنحنا الفرصه لاكتشاف ذواتنا وحقيقة ما تريده.
