كاتب وروائى مصري، من مواليد 12 ديسمبر 1973، تخرج من الكلية الحربية المصرية عام 94 ضابطا بسلاح المدرعات، ثم ترك الخدمة عام 2005 ليصدر أول مجموعاته القصصية "نديم العدم" و يتبعها بمجموعة "جمهورية الغابة العربية" 2006 ثم رواية "سيد الأحلام" 2009 و "قهوة الحرية" 2010 و أخيرا رواية "كفر العبيط" 2013.
و هو يكتب مقالات فى العديد من الصحف و المواقع الإلكترونية مثل التحرير والبديل و المصرى اليوم، كما قام بإعداد بعض البرامج التليفزيونية ا السياسية على قناتى القاهرة و الناس و CBC و تقديم بعض البرامج الإذاعية الساخرة على قناة ميجا إف إم.

بينما تحاول عصابة من المثقفين سرقة أحد مكاتب البريد عدة مرا، مصر التي يغلق مطارها ويصبح مخرجها الوحيد مشرحة زينهم في رواية يحج فيها الثوار في ميدان التحرير
