عندما اكتب تعود الحياة لقلبي من جديد , يعود بصري وبصيرتي , ينار طريقي بنور وهمي من قبس ِ حرفي . الكتابة كمُسكنَ لكلُ ما يؤلم شغاف الروح , الكتابةٌ سيف أقطع به رقبة الحزن واليأس , الكتابةُ يدُ تساعدني على الوقوف بعد كلِ سقطة , ومنديلُ يمسح عني كل دمعة , وصديقُ يدلني على الدرب الذي ضللتُ عنه أو أضلني . في هذا الكتاب؛ أحبسُ أفكاري عن الصراخِ بصوت عالي ؛ أحاول الحفاظ على توازني ، خوفاً من سقوط ذكريات لأشخاصِ أحتفظ بهم في رأسي ؛ أجاري الرغبة بالالتفات للخلف فما زلتُ على يقين أنهم يمشون خلفي بخفة ؛ منتظرين تعثري لنكمل الدرب معاً ، أنفي أياماً كانت ستثبت لي عكس ذلك ؛ أصنع عذراً لأيدي أخذت تدفع بي إلى هاوية اليأس وهربت بعيداً، أندم على لحظةٍ مستهتره , وعلى كلمةٍ قاتلة, و أحزن على ورقةٍ مُزقت وفيها حبر لم يجف,و أبكي كثيراً على أشخاصٍ لم أحبسهم في قصصي وجعلتهم بغرورٍ مني يرحلون . بعد كل كتاب افرغُ منه ؛ يروداني نفس إحساس الكاتب ، وكأني سرقتُ قضمةً من رغيف مشاعره ، وبذلك ولدت أحرفي وأخذت تنمو وتتغذى من كل كتاب قرأته حتى كبرت وأصبحت شجرة ذات ظلال، عندما تقرأ أحرفي عزيزي القارى ، أطلبُ منك التلطف معها، فما هي الا محاولات خجولة من فتاة السابعة عشر.
