البحث في نهاية ذاك الرجل تضعنا مُجبَرين أمام احتمال من اثنين لا ثالث لهما: الأول: هو التصديق على مضض وقِلة حيلة لما أعلنته الإدارة الأمريكية عن تصفيتها بن لادن بالفعل.. والتعامل على هذا الأساس.. الثاني: تلك النظرية التى يتبناها البعض ويزعمون من خلالها أنه لا يزال حيًّا.. الاحتمال الأول هو الأكثر رواجاً ورسوخاً عالميًّا وإعلاميًّا.. والتعامل على هذا الأساس لن يزيدنا أو ينقصنا شيئًّا.. لكن في حالة التصديق النهائي والقاطع بذاك الاحتمال فهناك سؤال مُهم ومنطقي يفرض نفسه بقوة على الجميع وهو: لماذا تُصر المخابرات المركزية الأمريكية الــ «C.I.A» على إحاطة تفاصيل وصور جثمان وقبر«بن لادن» بكل ذاك الغموض وتلك السرية؟ أما الاحتمال الثاني والذى يتلخص فيما يتبناه البعض ويزعمون من خلاله أنه لا يزال حيًّا.. فهو مطروح إعلاميًّا بمجرد الإعلان عن مصرعه.. وهو ما نناقشه بإسهاب وتحليل مباشر ومركز من خلال هذا الكتاب.. محاولين قدر الإمكان أن نجعل «الحقيقة» وحدها.. وتحليلاتها.. تقودنا عبر دروب البحث.. متجنبين كثيراً من الدعاوَى الزائفة.. والباطلة التى تتردد بقوة حول الرجل.. وتجربته الخاصة.. وجميعها دعاوى تحكمها حسابات سياسية ملفوظة.. وممقوتة..
