كانت قرية سعدون نسياً منسياً، مثلها مثل مئات القرى الأخرى البعيدة عن المراكز الحضرية على امتداد خارطة البلاد. لكن الأمر تغيّر بعد أن جاء الرجال ذوو الشَعر الأشقر والعيون الزرق.
كان «المستر ديكان» من بين هؤلاء الرجال، وسرعان ما ربطته صداقة قوية بسعدون، الذي كان يشتري له الليرات «الفرانسية» من البدو بثمنٍ بخس، لقاء الحصول على جهاز غراموفون وأسطوانات «إلفيس بريسلي».
حين ذهب غسان لتلقّي دروس في اللغة الإنكليزية على يد نادين، زوجة مدرّسه، لم يكن يعلم أنه سيهيم عشقاً باغنيثا فلكتسوغ، مغنية فرقة «الآبا» السويدية، وأنه سيطاردها طوال حياته…
والجدير بالذكر أن هذه الرواية قد حازت على جائزة الرواية في مسابقة سوق عكاظ لعام 2016.
