من جبل عامل في جنوب لبنان، وهو متزوج من الاعلامية رابعة الزيات.
قدّم البرنامج الحواري الأسبوعي خليك بالبيت لسنوات كثيرة في تلفزيون المستقبل.
وانتقل إلى قناة الميادين سنة 2011 ليقدم برنامج بيت القصيد.

Book Description
"لمن يهمه الحب" كتاب شعر يهديه زاهي وهبي للعشاق في عيدهم. يبوح من خلاله بمكنونات مشاعره تجاه المرأة، فهي بالنسبة إليه الحبيبة والزوجة، والغائبة والحاضرة في آن.
في الكتاب إحدى وأربعون قصيدة نثر تتكثف فيها مشاعر الحب والتوق والشغف واللهفة، ساقها الشاعر بأسلوب عذب ينسل بهدوء إلى قلوب المحبين.
لا يكتفي الشاعر بشعر الغزل، وإنما يوجه سهام حبه إلى المدينة الخالدة في التاريخ بيروت، سماها (مسقط القلب) فيكون للمكان حظه أو نصيبه في "لمن يهمه الحب". يقول: "بيروت / رائحة أنثى خرجت/ لتوّها من حبات المطر/ وجنة النهار، شامة العرب/ إغفاءة الموج على زند اليابسة/ طعنة البر في خاصرة الزبد (...)".
وكما يمتزج الحب بالحياة وبالحرية ينشد زاهي وهبي (ضحكتك ميدان التحرير) مخاطباً صغيرته. يقول: "ستكبرين يا صغيرتي/ جديلتك الشقراء تغدو شمس نهاراتي الغائمة/ أغصان عصافير الشيخوخة/ كتفك القطنية حقول دمياط، وسادة أوجاعي المقبلة/ من أعشاش صوتك تطير بلابل زرقاء ملونة/ من موسيقى خصرك أحصنة لهب/ مسرعة نحو صباك كثقاب مشتعل/ تدوخين قلوب العشاق (...)".
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: .."سماء يافعة"، "سماء قامتك"، "صورة اللقاء الأول"، "صباح يتمهل"، "زئبق الأنفاس"، "قلبا بقلب" ... الخ.
"في الليل أرتب لك الليل، العتمة شرفة الخيال، السرير واو العطف ومعطف الحواس، بين المفاصل خيول تتوثب، تحت الجلد أوردة تصر، أنفاسك كبريت الظلام، سنوفد الفجر إذاً، وليكن وجهك بصيص صباح يتمهل".
