سحر تستفيق لتجدها قطعة غمام منفردة عن السرب، أطرافها بالكاد تتعرف عليها، شعرها يغطي كَـتفًا عوجاء وتلك الوضعية من النّوم،"معتّز" يُناجي ملائكته بابتسامة متعبة.. الساعة الحادية عشر والصباح ارتدى ملاءة الشمس الحارقة مُعلنًا عن يومٍ فارّ من جهنّم، لم تكن تدري أن الليل كامرأة غاوية، كعب عالٍ بوقت حاد ينصل الذكريات، يخترقها بقسوة فتكسرها إلى شظايا أحداث بلا بداية ولا نهاية، فستانها الأحمر كالحب المنسدل على كتفه، امرأة الليل كليلها الذي باع لها الذكريات البائتة ولاكها معًا، لا جدوى.. قالتْ وهي تحضن طفلها المحدق ببراءة إليها، تنتظر منه أن يواسيها على أحلامها التي ما عادت تملك منها إلا أسماء أبطالها، الاحلام التي توقظ عمق الأسئلة، لكأن بالفضاء العبق، إشارات يرسلها إليك القدر كي توقظ أنين الكلام، في سقف الحديث لا يوجد غير الحب وبعض الحياة التي تلخص يومها. يومها "إبراهيم".
بيدين مرتجفتين، مسكت بوجهها تطوقه كسماء تلف خصر الأرض، العينان بحر ميت تطفق على سطحه آلاف الأسئلة المقيتة التي سممها الليل، المخيلة بحجم الغابة، وأشجار الكلمات باسقة ومتشابكة، ترتعد، وسُمّ "خالد" ينبت كأفاعٍ أمازونية، اللسان يبلع بعشوائية ريقها، بالكاد تبعثه إلى معدة يضج بها خواء. ما بي؟ ترددت الأسئلة في يمّ ما قيل ليلاً، كحجر أصم يُرقص بحيرتها دوائر تتشكل ثم تتصاغر في تماهٍ متناهي الدّقة، صوّبت رأسها المتعب الثقيل، على الثلاجة قلب أحمر، تناولته ببرودة، قرأته بعياء واضح المعالم. الكلمات.. تختلط عليها الدموع، العينان كجلمود ثلج يُصادف خطًا مسترسلاً من نور.
