هذا الكتاب.. يأتي في شهر رمضان المبارك، شهر التدريب على فعل الفضائل ومكارم الأخلاق وتحقيق التقوى، في هذه المرحلة من التاريخ الحضاري الإنساني، حيث يقف العالم اليوم أمام المنعطفات الكبرى والنماذج المتباينة والتداخل العالمي بين كل العروق والأجناس والأديان والحضارات، بكل ما يتولد عن ذلك من مشكلات وأزمات وقضايا أخلاقية ودواع للجوء إلى الفكر الدفاعي، والدخول في المواجهات المفروضة والمفترضة، وفرض وإكراه حضارة الغالب المهيمنة، بكل أزماتها وفسادها المالي والسياسي والاجتماعي وطابعها الإباحي، حيث لم تعد تقتصر تلك التصرفات الشاذة على الشأن الشخصي بل امتدت إلى مؤسسات الحكم والإدارة والمال والمؤسسات الدينية، والافتتان بتقدم (الآخر)، والعجز عن التفريق بين الصورة والحقيقة، حيث بدأت القيم الأخلاقية الإسلامية تغيب عن إنساننا ومجتمعاتنا شيئا فشيئا، ونسقط ضحايا وفرائس لثقافة وعادات الآخرين، دون القدرة على محاكاة تقدمهم العلمي والتقني. جاء هذا الكتاب ليعيد فتح ملف القيم الأخلاقية، ويجدد الذاكرة التاريخية والمعرفية تجاهها، ويقدم أنموذج الاقتداء الخالد في كل المجالات والأنشطة، ويعرض للأسس التي تقوم عليها مكارم الأخلاق، ويضع خارطة العمل المطلوب لممارسة هذه الأخلاق في مجالات العلاقات والأنشطة الإنسانية، ويبين دور الأخلاق في بناء الحياة الطيبة السعيدة، ويؤكد أن الأخلاق هي إكسير الحياة السعيدة الطيبة والحاضن الأساس للحضارة الإسلامية، بكل شعبها، وأن دور القيم الدينية والأخلاقية هو صناعة الدنيا النظيفة الظاهرة، فالدين للدنيا، وليس للهروب والانسحاب منها وتنفير الآخرين من تعاطيها.
