هل من الممكن اليوم ولوج الفلسفة المثالية الألمانية من أجل التعرف على ماهيتها وهويتها؟ ومنذ البداية سيعترضنا السؤال التالي : أليست كل الفلسفات مثالية في غايتها باعتبارها بحثا عن الحقيقة؟ ولما يتم "وصم" الفلسفة الألمانية متعددة المذاهب والتيارات الفكرية بهذا المفهوم الثقيل، أي مفهوم المثالية ومتى حصل ذلك؟ أليست هذه الفلسفة برغماتية ومادية وعقلية وحسية ... كغيرها من الفلسفات؟ افترضنا في هذا المؤلف أن هذا التصنيف غير بريء، حيث كان ولا يزال غرضه إبعاد الباحثين عن الفلسفة الألمانية وجعلهم يتمسكون ويهتمون بفلسفات أخرى ضنا منهم أنها أكثر واقعية. لقد لاحظنا في هذا العمل المتواضع كيف بدأ التنافس الفكري بين الألمان والفرنسيين، وبينا كيف أسهم الألمان في الإصلاحات الدينية التي كان لها دور كبير في تعميق فهم الإنسان بالدين. وكيف أنهم لم يستجيبوا لفكرة الثورة في المجال السياسي والاجتماعي ... وبينا من خلال ثلاثة نماذج منتقاة (ليبنتز-كانط-هيجل) أن مقاربة العقل والواقع وإشكالية العلاقة بين الطبيعة والإنسان والله من داخل الأنساق الفلسفة الألمانية تكشف عن تعقيدات كبيرة. وأن كل فلسفة كانت تساير وبجهد كبير هذه التعقيدات من داخل متاهات تمكن رغم ذلك القارئ من الإمساك بخيط مرشد (خيط آريان) إلى حلول تتوافق مع سياقات علمية واجتماعية وتاريخية. استعملنا في عملنا القراءات والترجمات الفرنسية التي كانت نفسها سببا في "الوصم" من أجل تقديم رؤية مغايرة عن إسهام الفكر الألماني في إنارة عقولنا.
