قفز على كتفي وأطبق بساقين من حديد على جنبي وأفشي لي السر: -لقد عشت مغامرات ومخاطرات تشيب لهولها الوالدان وذلك في مدينة النحاس والله وحده يعلم كيف خرجت منها حيا، رأيت ما لا عين رأت ولا أذن سمعت، وأريد الآن أن أكتب ما رأيت، غير أني تعبان منهك ووقع اختياري عليك، سأركب كتفيك وأستعير مخك لثمانية أيام وسبع ليالي، سأخبرك بما جرى لي وأنت ستكتبه.. ويا سادة يا كرام مرت أيام بلياليها وهو راكب كتفي يملي علي ويأمرني بالكتابة ولا يتيح لي راحة. وهذا يا سادتي ما حكاه لي الآخر وهذه حواديته أنقلها إليكم على مسئوليته الكاملة وحده، فأنا لا ذهبت إلى مدينة النحاس ولا رأيت ولا سمعت ، وما أنا إلا رسول وما على الرسول إلا البلاغ..
