كم هي سعيدة تلك اللحظة التي تعيشها الأم حينما تصل إلى أذنيها صرخة صغيرها بعد حبات العرق التي انتثرت فوق جبينها في انتظار وليدها ليخرج من عالم الرحم إلى الدنيا صارخا بكل قوته: أفسحوا الطريق .. فإني أتيت. وبعد تلك اللحظة، وربما من قبلها أيضا، تبدأ أطول رحلة في حياة الأسرة، رحلة تربية الأبناء، ونقل القيم والمعارف والأخلاق الطيبة من جيل الآباء إلى جيل الأبناء، لتستمر مسيرة البشرية نحو الخير والصلاح. وفي الصفحات القليلة التالية سعيت – ما وسعني الجهد – أن أبين بعض الأخطاء التي يقع فيها أغلب الآباء والأمهات خلال رحلة التربية التي قد تمتد لعشرين عاما. أولها تبدأ مع تأجيل إطلاق قطار تنشئة الطفل وتوجيهه وتقويمه.. والانتظار حتى يبلغ الطفل سن الثالثة والرابعة.. متجاهلين وغافلين عن أن التربية تبدأ من الحمل.. بل إن شئت الدقة من قبل الحمل.. فحياة أبنائنا هي امتداد لحياتنا .. وسلوكهم امتداد لسلوكنا. علماء الطب أثبتوا ان الطفل وهو ما يزال في عالم الرحم لم يطرق أبواب العالم، يحس ويشعر ويفكر ويحلم.. وتزعجه أحلام وكوابيس.. يبتسم ويفرح بفرح أمه.. ويستمع بلذة إلى الموسيقى الهادئة التي تطرب لها.. ويحزن ويقضب حاجبيه إذا ما شعر بالحزن. ونخطئ أيضا حينما نعتقد أن الطفل وهو ما زال صغيرا لا يعي ولا يدرك المشاعر والأحاسيس. وذلك والله اعتقاد باطل ! اضحك في وجه طفلك.. ستجده يبتسم ويرسم على شفتيه ابتسامة تضيء سماءك وحياتك.. تجهم في وجهه.. ستجد العبوس والحزن سرعان ما يرسمان خطوطهما ليحولا صفاء سماءه إلى كدر. فالطفل إذن كائن حي.. يدرك ويشعر ويحس.. فلنتعامل معه على هذا الأساس .. لا على أنه قطعة لحم تملك عينين وأذنين !!
