تأتي أهمية هذه الدراسة، حيث إنها حاولت أن تدرس الموضوع دراسة مستفيضة، وتحدد جذور التأثر، والعوامل التي أدت إليه، وكيفيته، ونوعه. ولقد قسمت هذه الرسالة إلى مقدمة ومدخل وثلاثة أبواب وخاتمة. أما المقدمة: فتذكر إلى جانب ما سبق خطة الرسالة ومنهج البحث والدراسة. أما المدخل: فكان لبيان التصوير القرآني للمسيح عليه السلام ورسالته. أم الباب الأول: فكان بعنوان: (العوامل التي أدت إلى تأثر المسيحية بغيرها) وقد اشتمل على خمسة فصول: الفصل الأول: الاضطهاد. الفصل الثاني: ضياع إنجيل المسيح وعدم قدسية الأناجيل الحالية. الفصل الثالث: بولس ونشاطه في المسيحية. الفصل الرابع: قسطنطين وأثره في المسيحية. الفصل الخامس: المجامع المسيحية وأثرها في تقرير العقائد الكنسية. أما الباب الثاني فكان بعنوان: (الأديان الوضعية المنتشرة وقت ظهور المسيحية) وقد اشتمل على تمهيد وثلاثة فصول: الفصل الأول: الأديان الشرقية. الفصل الثاني: الديانة اليونانية والديانة الرومانية. الفصل الثالث: منافذ الاتصال بين المسيحية والأديان الوضعية. أما الباب الثالث: فكان بعنوان: (مظاهر تأثر المسيحية بالأديان الوضعية) وقد اشتمل هذا الباب على أربعة فصول: الفصل الأول: التجسد الفصل الثاني: التثليث. الفصل الثالث: الصلب والفداء. الفصل الرابع: الشعائر الدينية والأعياد المسيحية. أما الخاتمة: فقد اشتملت على أهم نتائج الرسالة.
